Day 7

Theme of the day

Today I am thankful for three things I take for granted...

Gratitude Practice

Gratitude Stroll - Rediscover the lost art of strolling and go for a slow walk around your house, neighbourhood or park.  Look for simple pleasures as you stroll.  In particular, pay attention to what you can see, hear, smell, touch and even taste, if you are game. See the different shades of green all around you, listen to the music in the trees, feel the bumpy bark, smell some scrunched up leaves.  You can play a treasure hunt game and count how many red things you can see. Even give a tree a hug! The idea is to be intentionally slow and give thanks as you wander along.

Research and Benefits

Bible Verse

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.                                                                                                                                     Colossians 3:15
